These herringbone parquet floors were sanded, buffed with an orbital buffing machine and sealed with a lacquer.
Apparently Jimmi Hendrix lived in this house in Sutton.

Levelling a concrete floor in Bromley
Here we are levelling concrete floor using self levelling compound, preparing the subfloor to lay reclaimed parquet herringbone parquet.
After the compound is dry we'll apply 2 coats of damp proof membrane prior to installing wooden flooring. Look out for more pictures of this job.
Floor boards staining in process, Maida Vale
Here we've sanded wooden floor boards (pine) to smooth finish. After this we have applied Mylands light fast stain (1 coat) allowing it to dry for over night. Next day the floors are dry enough to apply primer and 2 coats of lacquer.

Few photos below of our recent herringbone parquet fitting job in Clapton E5. Reclaimed Afrormosia block, after it was fitted we've sanded it down and sealed with three coats of Junckers Commercial lacquer.
